Personal Brand Statement:
While contributing to my company's mission of raising awareness of children living with autism, I conducted events, took photographs, raised money, and utilized social media. I am hopeful in working with an autism organization for my future career. I am prepared to apply experience and communication skills, and a team building mindset to contribute to a company's goals and needs.
Who am I professionally?
As a professional, my academic experiences have served me well in demonstrating effective communications skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. These experiences have allowed me to showcase my creativity and organizational skills. Through my most recent profession, I have instilled in me a passion for spreading awareness and a desire to make a positive impact in the autism community.
Who am I as a person?
I was raised in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, and have two wonderful parents and two sisters. I began working with children who had autism, special needs, and behavior support at a school in my hometown in May 2023, and I absolutely loved it. Although I loved working with the autism community, I knew that working in education was not what I wanted to do in the future. I've made the decision to go in a different direction and integrate myself into the community that raises awareness of autism. Among my best qualities are my extroverted nature, my eagerness to learn, and my diligence. My shyness in some situations is my biggest flaw. I will continue to try new things and step outside of my comfort zone as my next steps.
